I watched this video last night and it really got me to thinking about how myself and people on 3si enjoy their cars.
Personally I take lots of time to try and get everything clean and pristine as i work on my car and repair things. Also have to say I've been "that guy" cleaning bugs off the front of the car after a highway drive.
The cars in this video are the exact opposite... some mis-matching paint large dents/scrapes, but it all seems to add to the character of the car. Each scratch and scrape is a story similar to scars a person develops over time. Marks that are a result of pushing their cars to the limit.
I can really respect people who drive their cars hard and don't baby them all the time. I would love to do this as well, but I always have the fear of breaking parts and the resulting costs. Maybe I just need to get another car that can handle that kind of abuse. Are there perfect cars out there for this? I feel like my neon might be one as the parts are plentiful and cheap and it has given me very little problems over the years.
Hopefully someone can understand a little bit of what I just said haha...Anyone else have thoughts on this?
