alright, i'll get my hands on a camera. Can someone tell me the gap there is supposed to be between the bar and the plenum? Something easy to check.

Get some Play-Doh or Blue Tack or something like that and smear it evenly on the highest parts of the bar. Close the hood. When you lift it, you'll see where the contact point is.

Just for info, when I was drilling my CF hood for the hood latches, I installed the rods/pins first (you have to so you know where to align the latch), and since I didn't have Play-Doh or Blue Tack, I smeared some peanut butter on the end of the rod and closed to hood so it marked where it contacted the underside of the hood.

Also, did anyone notice that when you bolted down the bar, the ring that goes around the strut tower gets kinda distorted/bent once you torque down the nuts? I found that kinda frightening... it seems to be because the top of the strut tower isn't totally flat (some body seams are there) so its bending on those... kinda annoying.

ack! so i'm not crazy. Well highway is no longer responding to PMs apparently. Maybe I can find a phone number for them or something. I might also try taking off the heat shield to pinpoint what its hitting. You probably can dremel a bit of it out, i may just do that if it only a little bit is needed.

I'd be surprised if Ryan is just outright ignoring you. Sometimes it takes him a few days to respond when he's busy.

The phone number is advertised on their site... CIANCI Performance - Quality Automotive parts for your vechile
