not me! I just used a wrench from the bottom worked fine.

One of the few bolts not seized on my car...

Heh, I like the top-down approach. Remove 4 bolts, yank the radiator above the engine, and baddabing - the O2 is replaced in under 15 minutes.

hmm, all I had to do was get the car a few inches higher in the air and I had perfect access to the sensor from below with a wrench.

if you have a downpipe or you car is fed spec, you shouldn't have to remove the alternator.

I have a TT cali-spec car and I still don't remove the alternator for the front 02.

I've been running those o2 sensors for a while now, no problems.
