Default Car and Driver says M3 > GT-R & 911 Turbo

Yet another proof that Car and Driver is written by a bunch of BMW fanb0is

Car and driver rates cars on how big the interior is, how little noise they hear, how easy the buttons are to figure out, and in general how much non-enthusiast appeal a car has. It's no wonder the M3 won.

yeah its Car & Driver not so much weighted on performance, rather all around driveability. So Im not suprised the M3 won

Road & Track is just that, a road car comparo in the streets and on the track. except they had a better matchup of C7 zo6, GTR, 997TT
GTR took this one

and Edmonds.com has a good contest of uphill mountain pass and track against alot of cars R8, GTR, EVO MR, STI..

and this is why i look at the pictures in car magazines...because any of the "info" in it is pure bias to the editors/writers

OH YEAH!!!!! I can't wait to hear Jeremy Clarkson's comments on the GTR!!

But yeah if you look at the C&D grading system, it's no wonder the M3 wins. The system is so out of touch with the nature of these cars. Who gives a damn about rear seat space, rear sear comfort, trunk space, when comparing performance cars?

It's one thing to think that the M3 is better than the GTR because one is made by BMW the german maker of ultimate driving machines and the other is just made by nissan. It's one thing to think that a german car will always be better than a japanese car. But to say that the M3 is better than a 911 turbo... C&D just shot themselves in the foot... again and lost the little credibility they still had.

Precisley, which is why I don't read C&D and I don't read MT because thier opinions seem to be for sale.

Don't get me wrong I like the M3, but I would get the 1 series before I'd buy the 3 these days. Also, I would have a 911 or a GT-R long before and M3 unless I needed a coushy DD.
