so has anyone else had bad luck with the fidanza flywheel?

HOLY SHIT! i didnt mean to mis lead the poor guy. mine did nothing like that, i must have caught it in time. i did mess up and put it back in.(peg in flywhl not flywhl in car)before i took pics. i really thought it was rare and not an major damage issue. you proved that wrong. i only have a few tiny marks where it hit. yours looks like a shooting range! i cant prove my flywheel messed up but put me on a lie detector and see if im lying. i wouldnt own anything made by fidanza now, or ever! j sin

Different vehicle but I had mine in my last car for about 15K miles and now in this car for about .. 8K miles with no issues.

I would give their customer support a call though, I had to call them once before and they were very helpful.

the flywheel had about 30k miles when it took a dump! i dont drop/pop the clutch in first but, i do shift it hard when at a roll. im guessing that the peg popped out on a hard shift. rps here i come, like the man said if its good enough for matt m its good enough for me! thx, j sin

Wow, never heard of this before. Had one on my stang and SLtt with no problems whatsoever and both of those got driven hard.

must be these td05's. they peg popped out within 300 miles after installing turbos. seems like its a rare problem but do you want to chance a tranny failing? even if fidanza gave me a free flywheel, i wouldn't use it! any one have a new rps for sale? i need shipped mon. for tue. delivery. j sin

Never seen or heard of that happening before. I had one in my Talon for the better part of 10k miles and it held up perfectly fine with over 100 track passes and many street launches off the 2-step and big boost.
