i like the dupli-color caliper paint they have at most auto parts stores. its a ceramic paint. comes with brake cleaner, brush, tape, enough paint i did all four VR4 brakes and my front valve cover with alot left over. i think itonly comes in red and blue. ive had great success with it
I paint mine EVERY year and I alway use the Dupli Color Sprays (High Heat).
I've got a method that works well and doesn't take more than a few hours...oh, and I usually do the inside of the rotor too
Jack up (and JackSTAND) one whole side of the car, remove wheels.
Wash and dry rotor and caliper. Sand if necessary.
Tape off rotor (where brake pads hit...just a single ring around it) then paper and tape
off the rest of the rotor. Put an old bedsheet in the wheel well.
Paint.
While the paint is drying (and in between coats) prepare the other wheel on that side.
Yep those are the Calipers on my NA, I Grinded them down to bare metal and then taped off areas I wanted bare and painted and then the lettering is decals, then clearcoated them. Took About 3-4hours
