That's good to know. Wonder what kind of difference it would make on a higher hp car...like your car now.

Good to hear you finally decided on getting a DS! told you so! j/k

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it for every 100#'s you drop its about equal to a 1/10th in the 1/4?

I know either way Jared getting the lighter wheels and the lighter drive shaft won't hurt anything! Plus it will definitely help lighten the load you put on the drive train!

every lb you remove from the wheels is about 6-7lbs of static weight. Its really a function of how far the weight is from the central axis of rotation. For exampe if your wheels are 5lbs lighter each, its like dropping 150lbs or losing the driver if he is tiny. I gained about 15 awhp on a dyno compared to a 99 vr4 with all the same mods same dyno same day with the exception of me having a CFDS-pst 1 piece
. We both had lighter wheels. My 18" Rpo1s are pretty light.\

Pretty damn good. but i can tell that all the racing i do is starting to pay the toll on the car. DriveShaft this time, Axel next time. I am getting to that point where i start breaking alot of shit. I cant belive my clutch has held for over a year and a half, b/c i am not nice to it.
