if the "fix" works, then it is just as good, if not better than the Safc2. They both do the same things, but the neo has more adjustment points and looks cooler.

Re: Apex AFC Neo: Confirmed Programming Bug - Karman Function Doesn't Work
Ok, so I talked to A'PEXI today and apparently they don't ask for a receipt anymore, which is good, I can't find mine. They sent me a pdf file to print, fill out and send in with the NEO. It says turn around is now 48 hours from when they receive it and they will send you a free t-shirt for the trouble. Better than nothing I guess...
It also says obviously because its getting reflashed, all the tuned setting will be gone and you'll need to retune the car. Fine, now the question...
Can I drive it grandma style until its tuned or for that matter to get it tuned. The reason I ask is the closest tuner is about 3 hours away.
Also, how has everyones car been with the reflashed versions? everyone happy?

Stock injectors, then yes, bigger injectors, then no.

Well, you don't need to tune perfectly your car to run it grandma style. You have 550cc injectors, if you didn't remove some honeycomb in your maf, you should just set you low and hight settings to -34%, which would make you ECU think you have 363cc (550-34%).
Make sure you have selected 6cyl and Karman in your settings too.
That way you will run your car safely and you will just need to fine tune it after.

Missed the point. He will have no AFC because he has to send it in to get reflashed.
Unless he has stock injectors or another fuel controller, he's not going anywhere.
[edit]: Unless he is going to wait for it to return, in that case your idea works just fine.

Thank you both for your help. I didn't make it clear, my bad.
No, I'll wait for the unit to come back, she can sit for the week or so. I was just wondering once it does come back what I could do. Thanks for the replys! Wish I could rep you both.
Because I knew the NEO wasn't performing to standard, I'm running 11psi of boost. When I get the unit back, should I lower that until its tuned?

Well if you can perform the settings I've gave you, you should be able to run your car, but before going WOT on boost I would log the car!
