They are 56 or 60mm compressors depending on what you pick. Larger turbine wheel then the newer He series.
Proper choice would be twin He351 VGT or the larger VGT in single.
The twins would spool much better then anything of comparable size if you buy a nice controller or rig up a low boost switchover diaphragm. Would also make much better power then a normal He351 that has a too tiny exhaust side.
I was going to try this route once. But just went with the Billet Precisions. I would think you would have to re locate as state above. I had to move mine over the tranny to fit mine. I think with Matts Headers, a hammer and a spacer you could make it work.

oh I thought you were going to do a super custom set up. Yea there is absolutely no way an hx35 will fit anywhere near the stock location. They do make TD05 housings for them, that is why it is so popular with us DSM guys, but my hx35 is so big I could not even fathom trying to fit it on my 16G vr-4. There is no way it would even clear the rear valve cover.
I would say if you could find used td06 20Gs with TD05 hotsides it would be a good investment, they are always being sold on DSM forums for around 350-450, realistically that is less than you would pay for a 2 used holsets and then buying a BEP hotsides for both of them.
used holsets 220-300 a piece x2 = 600
TD05 BEP hotsides 250 a piece x2 = 500
