Default Re: Any other Poly Mount Options?

Is Seattle going to be making poly replacement bushings for the stock mounts (like what Prothane makes for other cars) or is he doing complete mounts?

Weren't Bob EK2's mounts actually a Seattle design that he licensed/arranged for Bob to manufacture?

My understanding was that seattle was making complete mounts, I'm not sure about bobs other than I wish he still made them

I poured my own this week. I was also a little concerned with the poured urethane holding up, so decided to give it some help. On the rear mount (which has a smaller diameter sleeve than front for some reason) I increased the surface area of the sleeve. I took 2" diameter aluminum stock, cut to the same width as engine mount ring, drilled a hole in center, installed the original sleeve with some J-B Weld to secure it. Then poured urethane between the aluminum "hub" and the mount ring.

It seems to be very stiff. I guess only time will tell if it holds up.
