She is in deep shit anyways since her story will not hold up against two eye witnesses along with the victims story.

I witnessed the same exact thing a year ago, except I was stopped at the red. A woman, her husband, and their kid went flying past me (woman driving) after I had been stopped at the light for a good 2-3 seconds. The cars to my right had the green arrow to turn left, and they went right on green. T-bone, spin move, and slow roll until they came to and stopped.
I pulled over, called for the amberlamps, ran over and told the kid that got T-boned to shut his engine off as it was pouring gas all over the ground and he was dazed and confused sitting in his car still, and stuck around until the cops showed up. When they did, the husband who's wife (pregnant btw) blew through the light was saying the other guy ran the light

. So I chimed in, "Uh I saw the whole thing, she blew right past me through the red that I was already stopped at and T-boned him". He looked at me like I was the bad guy and started arguing. I reassured him he was wrong in my own smart ass way.
Cops said if it wasn't for my testimony the kid that got hit would have had a tough time proving it wasn't his fault.
Anyway, yes, it pays to look and analyze before going on green. Eff the idiots behind you. Doesn't matter if you had the right of way if you're dead.
