Default 99VR4, which lowering spring???

I have eibach on mine and it makes "clung" noise everytime I go over bumps.

I was told by eibach that it's not suppose to fit my car and so as Tien.

Anyone out there who has 99vr4 lowered with springs??

Please let me know.

Jay

the 99 chassis is the same as every other year. your clunking is not a symptom of your lowering springs. u need to check other suspension parts. tie rod ends, sway bar endlinks, bad shock/strut, cv axle, torn cv boot, etc. if you just got ur springs installed, make sure the top bolt that connects the strut to the strut mount is torqued to spec.

That is what I was thinking. I suppose it is possible that your springs were boxed wrong and you have the wrong springs. I had a set of Bilstein shocks and H&R Springs on my 92 and don't remember having any issues like that with them. I haven't tried them on my 99, but I it should be exactly the same.

I did intrax to mine, had to cut the bump stop off the boot and make sure that the rear springs were the N/A springs instead of the TT ones, the only way they would work, but for 280 bux intrax is the way to go other than coilovers.
