'90 Sentra cooler than 3000GT?

Can someone explain to me how my orange 1990 Sentra that was purchased for 600 bucks gets more attention and compliments than the 3000GT?

I've had it for 3 months and everyone I talk to LOVES the Nissan. Yesterday one of the guys at the junk yard complimented it. Today, I was at a light and a state trooper started talking to me about it. Am I missing something?

if it makes you feel better I once during a Halloween drove by a group of maybe 4 kids that were playing on the front lawn of a house, stopped at the light and I could hear all of them going like "wow!!" "now that is cool" and "Mom, mom mom look mom!" but the best one, the one that made the hair stand up on my neck and back was this little boy that had a batman action figure and simply dropped it on the floor and paralyzed simply uttered "batman" -I was wearing the batman outfit and my then fiancée now wife was dressed as robin, was a fun day

Could be insurance reasons, also could be gas mileage, or even think its more dependable, or a back seat. Not all people buy cars because of looks.
