So, I installed a 3sx Downpipe and test pipe and now my check engine light is on. I cleared the code at work and halfway home it came back on. I was in a hurry so i didn't pull the code, just cleared it, but i'm assuming its and O2 sensor. What can i do besides getting O2 sims. car is FED-SPEC.

wierd i thought fed specs had only two 02 sensors. If yuo got a check engine light your car should be cali spec then, or maybe you disconnected something at the same time you swapped the parts ![]()

Unless you damaged the o2 you shouldnt be getting an o2 CEL. Im Cali spec, have gutted precats, 3sx dp, test pipe, and have never gotten an o2 CEL. Never will either.
Take the few seconds to pull the code.

Definately pull the code first, that way you have a better guess on what's wrong.
Check the actual wiring harness of the o2 sensor when you replaced it going towards the engine bay. When I changed my DP on mine long ago, I got a CEL too. Turned out while replacing the rear 02 sensors (OBDII, 97 VR4) I pulled a little too hard and the harness popped off. |

pulled the code today and i got:
Code 11: Left front heated O2 sensor fault. now that doesn't seem like its referring to the one under the car to me. I cleared it again it was good for the first 10 miles home then the code popped up again, and the wires go up inside the car i cant even see the harness connector. |

you sure the car is fed spec?
if you do infact have 1 o2 sensor you damaged either the sensor or wiring when replacing the parts.
