Doesn't look like there is a convertable top mechanism in there at all...just an open racer style cockpit.

Hack-job or not, I'll give whoever did it props for the effort.

If I ever get the time necessary for such project, I'll show you guys how it's done right.

Longitudinally mounted rear-engine (8A80 perhaps), TT, w/AWD and a few other ideas. Ah, to have time. Of course by that point, 99% of the people here now will be long gone and I'll be puttering around this board by myself.

An SL is my guess. Which makes sense given that the huge AWD rear subframe would just get in the way in that car.

Looks like a base since it has no ECS caps on the front struts. They might have been swapped for other struts though....can you make out if it as the brake lines that run to the ABS pump in the front?

That red thing is blocking a view.

no he modeled it after a testarossa(sp?)
everyone always tossin around the wrong slogans.
3000gt - 'the poor mans testarossa'

i read that before i had a 3/s; still sux we got the testarossa b/c we are faster than that pos anyway.

I think its interesting and if it was all polished and pretty there wouldnt be so many haters.
