So on my way to work a guy ran a red light and I hit him
I wanted to see how much it would be to get this kind of stuff fixed if someone could give me a range or something. This car is definitely not going to a scrapyard. Thanks 3000gt 1.jpg
Ill have the pic on here in about 20 minutes. It runs and drives fine, nothing mechanical wrong with her. But the hood is bent, the bumper is messed up, as well as one of the headlights. And the piece of metal between the radiator and the bumper is bent. If you need to know anything else tell me. Pics will be soon.
doesn't look bad at all. If it's his fault and your getting money for it than it may work out to your advantage, car definatly doesn't look totaled at all, the front fenders are still perfect. This would be the oppurtune time to do a 2g or 3g front end since you need the hood, lights, bumper and possibly rad support anyway.

Well I want it done professionally, look good as before. Ive never done collision work like this. Is it hard to get everything to match up? Or does it just take patience. I've done extensive engine work and such so i can work on cars.
Also is the factory peal black paint hard to find at a cosmetic shop?
And yeah If someone pulls out in front of you, if he runs the red light, if he runs a stop sign etc. The only thing he would get is a citation. and as for payment of your car it would be your own insurance company (this is what I was told at least.)
i had an accident of my own fault with my stealth and a tree. i needed a new front bumper(mine split open) and a new frame rail that supports the headlights on the rights side, the headlight bucket, light plus pearl white paint, they gave me 2800 to do it...i spent 1600 on my porsche.
the clutch in the stealth burned the next week. it was unrelated, there was some snow on the ground and i wanted to try awd launching in it....5 launches btw
