Just curious how many people are running these? How are they? How do they feel?
They seem like an awesome street/all around turbo. Slighty larger then a 15g with a lighter comp wheel, so they spool a bit faster. I've read a few older threads of some people reaching 1bar at 2900rpms.
Anyone have any input? Matt (Snakeskinner) ?

Re: 16T TD04 (stock housing) Turbos, any results yet?
Sean (97mits3kgtSOHC) has them with stage II heads on his VR-4, but it's just been sitting with the engine out of the car for a year now. I'm trying to light a fire under his ass to finish the damn thing.

Re: 16T TD04 (stock housing) Turbos, any results yet?
I am very curious to know this as well, as these turbo's have been very interesting to me. I like many want just a kick ass street car, and although 16g's are quite capable on the street, I would never use them to their full potential....or at least I don't think I would so I want to stay TD04. I am very happy to see the numbers being produced by the 19T crowd, and would like to know how much faster/more powerful they are over the 16T crowd. Just doesn't look to be many out there....or they are keep quiet about it.
So please if you have 16T's.....c'mon people post up!!

Back up and running but still have boost issues. Can't boost more than 6-7PSI.
Re: 16T TD04 (stock housing) Turbos, any results yet?
I'm running 16T's, but on a car with all new lower bearings with only 200 miles on them so I haven't run more than 6 psi on them yet.
It makes the 6 psi by about 1.8k-2k, but I haven't really had the engine over about 4k since I replaced the bearings so I really haven't gotten a chance to see how well they perform.
Re: 16T TD04 (stock housing) Turbos, any results yet?
I just put mine in a few weeks ago and finished wiring in the LC-1 and emanage ultimate.. i have noooo idea how to tune, so it may be a few more weeks before i actually get this thing running, but once i get a decent base tune, i'll take it to get dynotuned and of course i'll get some quarter mile numbers from Infineon Raceway or Sacramento Racepark.
DR-16T
MBC
550cc PTE
GReddy FMIC
stillen intake
IPS quad tip and downpipe
RT highflow cat
GReddy EMU
LC-1 wideband
Samco radiator hoses
MSD ignition wires
NGK coppers
Mobil 1 (15-50)
Maximal Perfromance T-case brace
i'm hoping for some decent numbers, but time will tell

Bearings don't break in, unless you replaced the rings give her hell.
