Congrats that is awesome. I am getting slicks for my FWD TT in June and hope to hit an 11 sec pass as well. I am getting 26x10 et drags and with the 117-118 mph traps I get consistently, I hope I can get a good enough launch to get in the 11 sec club. Your 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile traps are dead on with mine as well. I trap 87-88 in the 1/8th and 117-118 in the 1/4 so I am praying I can break into the 11's finally. On street tires im still in the low 13's. Congrats again and I am jealous.

Using scrap sheet metal etc I built the pan and hangers all tonight. Very happy as now I dont have to worry about getting booted for oil leaks. I probably should fix the cam seal but I hate pulling cam gears.
Less then 4" ground clearance though. Fuh.
Re: 11.95@117 Bone stock SOHC heads/cams/shortblock e85 16psi
My oil pan. It needs to be 2" deep to be "7 second legal" but there is no way I was going to get clearance so its slightly more then 1" deep and its not quite level with the ground. Thats fine with me cause it now sorta acts like a belly pan. I had to cut out the corner to allow my wastegate to dump properly to the ground.
Since my e85 motor is a stocker and I dont know how much it can handle, I figured building the pan was better then chasing oil leaks in a motor that might be dead tomorrow.
Cost = free, which is why there is a seam in the middle cause the scrap sheet metal was not wide enough. I came up with the idea around 4 yesterday and after failing to find a good piece of sheet metal (places closed) I went with what I had and finished this around 1 AM. About 5 hours of total work. Looks crappy but I am pretty excited to run my motor now without getting booted from the track, and I know the track manager will be happy about it cause they made a rule that all cars 11.49 or faster must have them. Not quite fast enough to be required but I am actually happy that I have it now even though I complained last year with the new policy. The NHRA rules for a 7 second pan are pretty ridiculous, because they flat out would not work on our cars...we would have tires hitting a "legal" pan. I was originally going to try to tuck it into the engine bay and then i decided to let it hang below so it could catch drips from the edge of the K frame too (just barely reaches pas that inside edge).
Airdam not installed. That hangs MUCH lower then the pan and the pan is tilted towards the bottom so it should act a bit like a belly pan.

Well my built list is pretty much my sig.
BTW, anyone trying e85, I suggest you replace your fuel lines. I never owned this car until 4 years ago but someone definitly got the stock lines gunked up.
2 weeks after running 11's my injectors are all gunked up, stuck, etc. car barely made it home from 2nd place hot rod at cinco de mayo car show here in SLC.
Not sure of a good place to fix the injectors yet. I got a link from someone to witchhunter in Bothel washington (like 5 minutes from my parents) but thats not close to me and 110 bucks plus shipping. Anyone think I can find a lower price? I will call around for local places.
Fixing the stupid injectors will cost way more then the stupid engine I ran 11's with

If you find a good place to get the injectors fixed pm me. My galant has the same problem. My injectors are leaking and when i turned the car off i got about 1oz of fuel in each cylinder overnight. Now i have to rip it apart and hone the block for new rings. It sat with e-85 in it for a month during my holset build. I looked an black goo is clogging my injectors. Maybe i'll just see it as a forced upgrade to 1600's an ss lines.
Re: 11.95@117 Bone stock SOHC heads/cams/shortblock e85 16psi
starting a car with leaky injectors suuuuucks.
The trick ive been trying is unplugging the injector harness and then clipping it back in while someone is busy clearing the plugs by already trying to start it. Even that is super sketchy. Glad I got home without a tow. Started misfiring 15 blocks from my house
I had to get a jump at the show cause I killed the tiny battery.
