I am currently shooting a bit less now because of the snow, but ive managed to get out into the white stuff and snap some pics. I also have been collecting some vintage glass and making it adapt to my 40d. Currently i have aquired a Canon 55mm F1.2 FL, and just recently a 45-135mm F 3.5 lens. Havent done much testing, but ill be sure to post some things up here soon. What are you guys up to and what are your upcoming projects? This sub forum is dead. You guys all ok? They are my first experiment with my newly EF mount converted Canon F1.2 55mm lens. Most of the shots are done at F1.2, so you can see just how shallow the DOF is, the clarity, and color rendition. BTW these are straight out of the camera.

Late night shot. Hand held. Took this right after attaching the mount.


Took this of the couch. Yup roughly a 1/4" of an inch focal plane.

These are all directly Off Camera and are clickable for higher rez. Lens used was my brand newish Zeiss 50mm f/1.7 Plannar:

Haven't run these through noise reduction, don't think I will either..I like the grain. You can really really see the IQ difference between the Zeiss Lens and the Focal..wow!
