This idea came up in another thread but I thought I would broaden it and start a thread on it considering I have not seen one yet. I am personally looking to strengthen my combat wing and initially thought of Great Stuff to fill all the open space. Someone else mentioned ITW Foam Seal which is probably very strong but at 40 bucks for a square foot it didn't seem reasonable compared to a few bucks for Great Stuff

Anyone have any ideas on what could be added to something like a wing pillar to make it stronger and less vulnerable to cracking??

I have a company in Maryland who are sending items off to Japan to get molds made for the fuse box covers, power steering cover, valve covers, brake fluid cap, spark plug cover, and the AC box cover. These items will all come back made in carbon fiber. Im also sending a 99 front bumper, fins, sails, and a lip from 3sx also to be made out of carbon fiber. I need to know is how many people would be interested that way we know how many to have sent back. This process to send items out get the molds made and get the products back will take approximately 3 to 4 months.

I have 95 TT, and I want to repaint it and do some major body repairs or upgrades. for the beggining I have to collect all of those parts, and I'll start with the roof.
I used the CAPS to indetify them, and please correct me if I'm wrong because I have to pay in advance for those parts and I dont want to get something that will not fit my car.

I have some problems with the moonroof, and I would like to change many parts. please confirm that this is the right picture that I'm looking at:

i didnt know whether to post this on body or interior so i'm sorry.
I was wondering what you guys thought about adding the 1st gen pop out sunroof to my 97 that I just bought. I was very disappointed that it didnt have the moonroof.. Its a sports car it should have one!
I'm thinking it would be too hard to add the electric moonroof but the pop out would be functional and 'fairly' easy to put in.. unless im missing something itd basically just be.. cutting the hole, fitting the trim/seals and then dropping in the window right?
If anyone has ever done this or in general added a sunroof/moonroof to a car please let me know your thoughts on this as well as what it cost you.

Stealth Sideskirts, Opinions please

I have a Stealth, and have purchased the new Cianci Sideskirts.

They haven't been shipped yet, but I can't decide if I like the Cianci sideskirts (3000GT/Stealth (91-99) Novara Side Skirts Mitsubishi 3000gt, Dodge Stealth Side Skirts [CR-S01] - $275.00 : Cianci USA, When Quality Counts (http://www.cianciusa.com/mitsubishi-6/side-skirts-15/3000gt-stealth-91-99-novara-side-skirts-13.html)) to go with the vented widebody fenders, and the novara front bumper.

Just looking for some opinions on these Cianci sideskirts compared to the stock stealth sideskirts.

My current ones have some slight damage to them, a small crack, and some chips, but nothing a little body work can't fix.

With the cianci skirts, I also need to purchase the lower door panel off a 3kgt.

Also does anyone know how mitsubishi sprayed there metal flake? I know honda uses a technique so all the flakes stand straight up, and I dont have the gun's to shoot that style. Any advice/knowledge would be helpful

I have a 1992 Dodge Stealth base. My stealth doesn't have any fog lights right now, no fixtures no nothing. I am fairly sure that the wiring is there for them. I guess that's a start :D .

I have searched the forums but between HIDs, halogens, and LEDs I have no clue where to start...

Sorry for the vague Post, but I have never dealt with lighting before.

spider web clear coat repair

I just "discovered" a very cheap way to fix some spider webbed clear coat.

I hit a chunk of ice in the parking lot at work last year and spider webbed the paint.

My car is not an OEM color and I am having a hard time finding an exact match. So, repainting the front bumper wasn't really an option. While the spider web cracks weren't super noticeable I have been worried that they would spread, the paint would fall off, and I'd really be in trouble.

I had an idea tonight to try some super glue to hold the paint together and to my surprise it makes a perfect repair. if you put a small amount of super glue (iso-cyanate) on the spider web and spread it thinly with a finger it makes the crack completely disappear.

You may notice the optical clarity isn't perfect, but you can actually buff it just like paint.

I'm not worried about the chemistry because the hardener in clear coat is actually basically super glue anyway. They are both iso-cynate based products.

I wasn't really trying to cover the cracks, I was just trying to keep them from spreading, but a nice bonus is you can't see them anymore :)

Hey guys, i find that driving my car at night is a bit difficult because the headlights are pretty dim compared to the xenon lights today. I was looking at ebay for xenon lights, but i found that they were only for 94+ models. do they make xenon headlights for my car (1992 3000gt vr4)? thanx.

*Well yesterday i got bored and decided to go to the next extreme with my weight reduction... I know im gonna get flamed for this  . But i decided to remove my crash guards. For one, the car doesnt get driven very much at all and 2, i am a very safe driver. I know alot of people are really against this but i decided to do it anyway so keep your negative comments to yourself :p . But thanks to this removal, my car now weighs 3,195 lbs.! OK so on with the pics...
