It's a second gen with a 99 spoiler unpainted, I have the 99 headlights and potentially getting the 99 bumper, so I was wondering what would everyone prefer?

1. Take off the spoiler, leave it spoiler-less, leave it as second gen
2. buy a stock spoiler, paint it blue, leave it as second gen
3. Leave the spoiler on, complete the 99 conversion

By the way exterior is in perfect condition

one thing I'm concerned about, if I decide to paint the spiler/bumper it will not match 100% factory paint I'm assuming

HID H3 Fog install/mod 2nd Gen.

Got HID in my headlight thus making the fogs look funny with its yellowish output. The yellow is really pronounce when flooded by the white of the HID. So the thought was to get some regular bulbs that were whiter like the Silverstar or Piaa units. After seeing prices in the $50-$100 I said the hell with that and went with HID since it was cheap ($42 shipped). I had already bought my headlight HID and they were 6000k so I figure what the heck lets see what 4300k looks like so I got that for the fogs. Turns out to be pretty nice with the fogs slightly yellow compared to the 6000k headlights. The 4300k definitely puts out much more lights (well percieved anyway). I would recommend anyone thinking of doing it go for 4300k all around. When you have them both going together, you can really see the difference. The fogs 4300k were 35watts while my headlights 6000k were 55watts! and still the 4300k were brighter. Save your money and get the 35watts too. 55watts is overkill, but I didn't know it at the time. Oh well live and learn. Anyway on to the install/mod. I'm not going to show how to remove the fog or anything like that. I just took the whole thing out with the braket attached because it was easier for me, Gear wrench help alot :) First thing I notice after taking the fog apart was that there is no where to get all that wiring through the outer casing and into the back of the projector. Then I also notice that the HID bulb has a huge rear end. The casing isn't deep enought to accomodate the back of the bulb! The following sequence of pictures shoulb be self explanatory on what you need to do. NewB at this so hope the pictures shows.

You need the larger one of this at Harbor Freight
Image: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t289/dvo_photos/96275.gif

Drill out the back of the housing using low speed on a drill press or hand drill. The step drill bit makes drilling such a large hole so easy. Kudos to whoever invented this!

Image: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t289/dvo_photos/DSC_0009_resize.jpg

Drill until you can get the largest plug through and no more!
Image: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t289/dvo_photos/DSC_0011_resize.jpg

Feed all the wires through along with the attached grommet on the HID bulb and hook them up.
Image: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t289/dvo_photos/DSC_0012_resize.jpg

Put projector back in, there is plenty of room in the back to tuck the wires.

94 base without anti-theft system. Having an issue were my lock actuators are engaging without pushing the lock button on the switch. So far I've checked the continuity of all the wires to and from the lock relay for the lock and unlock commands as well as the actuator motor. So there are no shorts in the door on the drivers side. I still have to check the passenger side. I have checked to relay for function and continuity and its fine. One thing I do not understand is that the circuit diagram shows two relays and I've found the one under the dash but the one behind the driverside rear panel has the wrong colored wires and does not look like the right relay. the only other relay under that panel is the intermitten wiper relay. I just do not understand how the switch is getting bypassed. Any help would be appreciated?

Hey I was wondering if it was possible to swap out the stock stealth bumpers for 3000gt bumpers. I have a base model stealth and it has no side skirts. I dont think the front bumper would be a problem. I want to know if i would be able to get rid of that ugly black plastic piece on the door and put the 3000gt side skirts. Also the rear bumper, is that possible?

No Parking Lights, Dash Lights, or Reostat

When I turn my light switch to parking lights I do not get back lights for the dash or 3 center gauges. I do not get parking lights (rear red lights and front amber side markers). I also notice the climate control does not dim. Basically it is as if I never turned the switch. Headlights work fine and the taillights fuse is also fine (swapped it out for a known good one). Brake lights work fine, turn signals and emergency flashers work fine.

I think I may have bumped a wire underneath the drive side dash but I don't know what to look for or where to start. Any suggestions?

Ok so I replaced my alternator fuse.
Now my taillights and dash lights do not turn on.
The fuse is fine but it fits kind of loose so I do not know if that would be the problem.

The point behind this was for me to be able to mount my 8.9" netbook so that I could use my HHHalo software and other things when I drive. It took a little time to think of the design but with help from dad it wasnt that bad.

Well here is the finished project :

My switch threw craps on me today. Operates properely going down, but going up mode you have to keep playing with the switch till it finally catches.

Its been raining here almost on a daily basis for 2 months so this matter needs to be resolved asap

Anyone know where to get a new one or possibly a used one in good working order?

Also, if I switch out the passenger side switch will that work?

Does that panel pop out, or do you remove the door panel for access?

Thanks,
Flash

Alternator Fuse Blow?

I just wanted to confirm that a blown alternator fuse would be the reason why my dash lights will not turn on and why my headlights will only come up with the car started?

Still trying to figure out why my stereo is not right or why my battery is being drained? Bare wires maybe

Having lots of electrical problems with my car and need someone with knowledge of things like this.
Please help:mitsu::dodge:

Hi,
I was driving down the street and and all of sudden all gauges were at 0 position. No turn signals work, No speed, oil, votage, temp gauges, no windows. I checked fuses and sure TURN fuse was blown. I replaced it with new one-15amp and that one instanly burned. I put 20Amp and that one burned. I am not sure what is happening or where "short" could be. All lights-headlights, brake, position and hazards blinkers work. Regular turn signals dont work.

"Turn" fuse burns at same time when ignition is applied with the key.No crazy radios or amps in it. Car starts and drives fine. Please let me know what could cause problems.

Thanks

Ok so I finished charging my battery for my car.
It started up just fine. No problems. I turned my lights on and the dash lights didnt turn on. I reved my engine a lil and the headlights came up.
I opened my door and all the lights on the inside turn on except for the dash lights.
Also my battery is running at about 10v when the car is on.
Not to sure but on my old car I know it was higher.
Battery problem maybe the issue for why my stereo restarts itself when the volume is loud?
Need a solution please.
I will make a video showing whats wrong.
Thanks

Ok so my dash lights do not turn on when I turn my lights on.
My headlights turn on but do not open unless I start the car.
When I step on the brake the brake lights dont turn on.
Possible blown fuse?
Which fuse controls all this and where is it located at?

Ok so I wasd getting a battery from a friend and the fuckn idiot put the positive on the negative and the negative on the positive and it wasnt on long before we realized it wasnt on right..
Yes I know I shouldnt have let him do it because hes a fuckn idiot and doesnt know how but when we switched it back the lights on my car would not turn on. Well my headlights would turn on but not open(they are pop ups) and the lights inside my car would not turn on. Only when the key was in some leds I have in the car would turn on. When I tried to start the car with the other battery and it would kinda start but the battery was to dead to start the car but when It would the headlights would come up then the car would die.
Could it just be possible I blew a fuse because of the idiots mistake? Only the lights inside and the headlights will not come up.
With my other battery that was almost dead my headlights would still come up and I put this battery back on and the lights inside and headlights still dont come up.

Any solutions Plz
