Their are five bolts holding the TC on the transaxle and they are all easy to take off. If you have a jack and some jack stands then you should consider doing it yourself. All it will cost is the 2 seals, 3 exhuast gaskets and some fluid (less than a qt) for the TC. The seals are about 15-20 bucks, the gaskets are abotu $5 a peice, and the fluid is about $5-10 qt depending on which fluid you get. All you have to do is remove the down pipe and then the 5 bolts for the TC and pull the TC out and replace the seals. Easy as that. You can actually do the job yourself for less than the cost of getting it checked out. Usually there is a min. $50-65 check out fee.

is the transaxle as easy to change seals on? im thinking its harder. I switched to redline and now my transaxle is leaking like a bitch. the transfer case seems fine though.
