That is basically how the process works. But understand that yes, their web site is behind, and Eduardo will probably send me an email with an official Recall # before it even gets posted/updated on their site. So, just kick back and wait a while. This isn't something that is going to happen over-night. Eduardo is just relaying info after each individual step has been completed. You to will have to wait for an official Recall #. I would think that this is a US Recall only, since Mitsubishi is an international corporation. It should apply reguardless of where you live.
