I doubt the fuel tank is any different between 1st and 2nd gens. You definitely need the plastic shroud at the bottom, or the bumper will sag and have a huge gap
And yeah, 2G RT rears are rare, but since I did the mod in 2003, many have followed suit
At least it is not as played out as the 99 front, or the growing 96 wing crowd
