Re: USB-to-Serial settings for logging...!?
Ok, searched more and I did find posts with settings regarding my question, but they do not work either.
The bitch of the whole thing is that logging works on my old-ass Sony Vaio with a serial port. I have since installed an AC inverter (battery on the Vaio is shot) so I CAN log, but I'd rather do it with my Dell 9" Mini than my 15" Vaio. I did mimic the port settings from the working Vaio com port to the USB-Serial dongle with no luck.
The brand of my adapter is IO Gear. I thought I had read that this one works, and when I visited my friend in Naperville I picked one up at Tiger Direct, but that's 1.5 hours away. I bet I can return it online, maybe, but what is next...try a Belkin adapter? I am clueless now, but hey, at least the Vaio works....
