USB-to-Serial settings for logging...!?
I have been pulling my hair out.
I happened to be near a TigerDirect outlet store and bought an IOgear USB-to-Serial adapter. I chose this brand because I read on here that it works great.
Anyways, I have been futzing with the settings in device manager (XP Pro). I tried all sorts of baud rates...flow control settings...etc... I can sometimes get readings to show up in Tunerstein or TMO or an emulated version of MMcD. But...some values don't show up. RPM, for example, is always stuck at either 725 rpm or 7250 rpm.
I know I made a recent post touching on this issue, but now I know I have a known good cable. Can anyone offer any help? Perhaps to try HHH or a different logger?
