I think when someone from BC claims that..they mean its possible..Not that its a good Idea.
I believe AJ berg did 1800 on a stock forged crank..but probably only for 1 track day and then replaced. 1000 bucks is a drop in the bucket for a race team in those speeds for 1 day of racing.
So if they really mean, 200hp more then a stock crank will handle for a couple passes then

It obviously doesnt have the bigger journals that your motor has which is the real key, not just the material.
