Default Back from the track - Another 13T car in the 11s

I had a great day Saturday with my good friend Terry at the Maximal Performance drag day at New York International Dragway.

Wasn't sure what to expect from the car, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Pump 93 octane.
17psi spike, ~15-16psi to redline (just because my setgain was a few clicks too low on the profec-b)
Ebay cone intake
Stock MAS, not gutted
Dejon hard intake pipes
Rob Beck 13Ts
ebay FMIC with homemade piping
RC 550s, 40psi base fuel pressure
stock heads / cams / cam gears / shortblock / throttle body / plenum etc
stock exhaust headers
DN 3" downpipe, gutted precats, 3" testpipe, 3" ICH catback
40k mile old RPS Max full face pressure plate, OEM clutch disc & flywheel
21.1 lb. rims (18x9 Enkei RP0-1) & 245/40/18 Azenis
Gutted trunk ... not sure what the car weighs

Anyway. I got there around 11:30 but waited for Terry to get his slicks to run. I had no idea what to expect but my first pass of the day I managed an 11.9 @ 115 with a 1.678 60' ... so my goal of an 11.xxx was all taken care of. Then I tried various things and here's the best run of the day:

60' - 1.681
330 - 4.908
1/8 - 7.592
MPH - 92.81
1000 - 9.871
1/4 - 11.817
MPH - 115.93

The 6 speed gearing was killing me. That shift into 4th really slowed the car down before the 1/4 mark. One run I missed the 3-4 shift and still ran an 11.98 @ 104.9 ... it was cool to see that.

My best trap of the day was 116.33, and my 5 1.6x 60's are truly a testament to RPS - this clutch has seen 40k miles of countless launches and it held everything I threw at it all day (around 13 passes) except for when I hotlapped at the end of the day, on the 5th run in a row it slipped.

I did log the run but my palm pilot took a shit "fatal error" and I never got a chance to review it. I saw my peak IDCs were 95% on the 550s at 40psi base pressure.

Anyway I was pretty pumped to see 11's, especially on pump. I can't wait to run race gas and see what these 13Ts can do!!!
