For every day driving it stays on the softest settings.
I have a very high tolerance so I am a bit skewed. I have no issues with the ride of driving my car on PA roads. The most uncofortable road I dealt with was a section of a NJ Interstate (cant remember which of the top of my head), where the expansion joints were over emphasized.
It royally sucked. But for comparison the first time I was ever on that road was in my TSi with stock suspension and I thought something was broke it rode so rough.
For best results find someone in your area with coilovers and have them take you for a ride,

how do you adjust them? they're not electronic are they? i guess my question is...is it relatively quick and easy to adjust the softness?...
