Default Re: racing seat brackets

Hmmm, Wedge Engineering's part numbers for 3000GT seat brackets part numbers 996T and 997T look A LOT like Corbeaus seat bracket part numbers 996T and 997T. I bet they are just reselling Corbeau brackets. Even if they aren't, there just really isnt any way to set a seat lower and still have a slider. And I can tell you that, with my Corbeau TRS seats and brackets, the seat does sit a good bit higher than the stock seats. Part of that is the TRS seat is 'thicker' than the stock seat. Even after removing the slider part of the bracket, the TRS seat still sits a little too high for me. It's FINE for normal street driving, but I run out of head room when wearing a helmet for the open track days. I picked up some CF shell racing seats in the for sale section that I'm going to be installing soon. Probably have to fab some custom brackets to mount them tho.
