I would say yes since the current draw of two pumps will be putting a lot of strain on the stock circuit. However, more importantly have you increased the size of the fuel return line? The output of the dual pumps will overflow the pressure regulator without a larger return line. I assume you have installed a larger output line from the pumps, then you can adapt the stock feed line as the return to the tank and you should be OK.
