Ignore the rattle/rice it is just the camera and never does that in person.

This is a 3SX downpipe, Magnaflow cat, and a custom cat back with the 40 series. Personally, I think it sounds GREAT. The only downside is that the Flowmaster isn't a straight through design and it is somewhat heavy.

If all you want is sound, I would go with a muffler similar to mine. If you want the most performance you can get, go with a can (although you said you don't like these, they will provide the best performance) and make it a single shot.
Did you have any probs with a "check engine light" coming on using the Magnaflow cat? I was thinking about getting one but heard about the cel problem some had with a Magnaflow. My exhaust is bone stock. I have a whole brand new exhaust system to install (new Mitsubishi center pipe, muffler and tailpipe), and an aftermarket FAP (Foreign Auto Parts) downpipe. Thought I'd install a new cat while I'm at it since everything else in new. My original cat is working o.k. but the heat shield has a couple rust holes. I don't know if our stock cats wear out internally or not??
