Here is a clip of my N/A with a Flowmaster 40 Series.



Ignore the rattle/rice it is just the camera and never does that in person.

This is a 3SX downpipe, Magnaflow cat, and a custom cat back with the 40 series. Personally, I think it sounds GREAT. The only downside is that the Flowmaster isn't a straight through design and it is somewhat heavy.

If all you want is sound, I would go with a muffler similar to mine. If you want the most performance you can get, go with a can (although you said you don't like these, they will provide the best performance) and make it a single shot.
