I don't think that's right. You want your "set gain" less than your max boost. "Set gain" is the start boost. It's the boost level at which the valve begins operating. You want it as close to your max boost as possible without causing a spike.
If you're running 15 psi, I'd try 11 for set gain.

Alright I'll def. keep that in mind when tuning. It hits and holds 15-16psi like that pretty well, for whatever reason. I will be tuning for 17psi this weekend with my 550's so that's good info to know. For the sake of my own dumb ass, even after reading pansy patrol's write up I still screw it up! LOL!
