I called Apexi and asked what to do and was sent a Email containing a PDF form of what to fill out aswell as the criteria of which models need to be reflashed
After filling the form out you then recieve a RMF number which should be on the shipping box as to not be returned back to you at your cost. Turn around time for the reflash is 48 hours. They are not going to pay for shipping to Apexi but are going to include a free T shirt when it is shipped back to you. I will ship mine off Friday and hopefully it should be back before I head of to Colorodo.
