Hey guys just picked up a 1992 Vr-4. I paid $3300 for it...79k miles...bad paint but from what I here un-common maroon color, engine bay has some corrosion, needs new leather and some interior pieces.
My plans are to pull engine and do a full detail and paint on motor, new paint job(maroon), new leather, new bumper maybe 99' not sure yet, and BPU for now. I will move up to 13T's with hopes of 400awhp on pump.
The car runs good and I though $3300 wasnt too bad...talked him down from $6500
. Needs tires too. Car came with that joke of a front bumper so I took a saws-all to it. I just started getting a pulse at idle thought...I saw that it has new looking RC injectors...who knows what size but that means its probably dumping fuel into the car. Which would explain why it failed emissions. Overall it just needs a very good cleaning and some minor fixes(windshield, power window on pass side)
