Default Re: Car and Driver says M3 > GT-R & 911 Turbo

I think its unfair to have a driver who is not interested in going around a track faster judge what they like better when one car is RWD and the others really aren't even though they are RW biased. Even if its not faster, there is alot of fun driving a well balanced high power V8 car in rear drive. I drive one to work every day, its a ball. However, Car and Driver should take these cars out on a wet morning and see which car they prefer. I can have alot of fun when its wet out at low speed on my way to work sliding all over the place but get in a situation where your flying down a three lane highway fighting other drivers for open holes to pass the crowd, and you would rather be in a car like the GTR even more then the Porsche which isn't balanced that well for crazy wet slalom driving. All around, the GTR makes a better car if thats what they are looking for. As useful as the BMWs back seat is, blasting up a snow covered mountain road is pretty useful also as well as effortlessly cruising on the highway in a thunderstorm close to triple digit numbers. I know the VR-4 has done it many times and its no GTR.
