I think you are reading to much into my post. I stated in this country (meaning the US) that ethanol plants use corn. We will see who is the first to complain when a box of Cheerios cost $10+.

Don't see how you can run 101-105 octane E-85 and make the same power as running C16 race gas. Someone please enlighten me on this.

Yep have done meth injection on commuter cars. Customer in VA did a small turbo on a Honda Insight. Was able to lean A/F out to 18:1. Customer stated that they were faster then stock Mustangs and still got 75MPG down the highway when racing.

For replacing expensive race gas, pump gas with ethanol injection would lead to higher hp for racing then running straight E85.
