All you need is a couple of bad drought years in a row and we will be importing corn from China. Hmmm Lead based corn from China, then you could get rid of your catalytic converter once and for all again.

Nobody here needs to be indoctrinated because you want to save your business. Corn ethanol is bad but the worldwide ethanol industry doesnt run on corn. Just America. Nobody is talking about running the country on e-85. This is a thread for performance vehicle's and street cars. Its not like you sell meth kits to 100hp commuter cars.
Ethanol fuel will never go away, and if they stop selling e-85 people will be running their own higher concentrations of ethanol.
People are learning that the misconceptions about alky are wrong, and that a little gasoline mixed into ethanol to make e-85..or even e-98 mixes are safe for most fuel systems and vastly superior for making power. When it comes down to it, thats all people care about.
Nobody really cares about burning 30% more fuel when the fuel costs 4x less then comparable race gas.
Mods need to come in here and delete all this crap.
E-85 fleet cars have been built in mass since the early 90's and a drought wont stop racers from running ethanol.
