I have a new driver's side CV axle I need to put it in. I read that the motor & tranny mounts + front end alignment should be in good shape first. I know my motor mounts are getting pretty bad and I plan on replacing them but I'd like to get this halfshaft in right away.

Should I try to replace the motor mounts first? What could happen?

Also a link for some good instructions/discussion on replacing the driver's side CV shaft in a SOHC stealth would be extremely helpful. No luck with search.
