Ok, I think I've got this all figured out. In case anyone is searching for info on this in the future, I'll do a quick write up of what I did:

For LM-1 users, this is pretty much a simple plug and play install. But for LC-1 users, theres some re-wiring that has to be done. If you cut off one end and strip back the wires of the 3.5mm male-to-male cord that comes with the Scanmaster, there's two wires, and within each of those wires there is a small insulated wire thats either white or red (I believe white is input 1 and red is input 2). All you need to do is splice one of the analog outputs from the LC-1 with the inner insulated wire from the scanmaster cable. The wiring that is wrapped on the outside of the smaller insulated wires is the ground, which is not needed. Then you can go into the Scanmaster configuration menu to display the analog input as air-fuel ratio as the default O2, depending on which input you used. Then you just configure the analog output that you are using from the LC-1 using the LM programmer to 0V = 10.1 AFR and 5V = 20.1 AFR.
