Are the marine terminals painted? The reason I ask is because i had the same problem 2 weeks ago. I jumped the battery and took my car to advanced to check the alternator and battery and found that the paint was not allowing for good contact and therefore causing a drain. I sanded the areas where the cables meet the terminals and hooked everything back up. no problems since.
oh and i got a new battery as well and even after switching it out the car still woouldnt turn on until i got the paint off the terminals.
