I'm wondering what are the weak links in the Stealth TT/3000gt and what year is the best?
I have done a bit of reading and the 2nd gen motor has a forged crank.
I saw some mentions of inadequate oiling and a lot of spun bearings.

Given it is perfectly tuned How much horsepower can a stock 1st gen block handle ? stock 2nd gen?
What is the highest HP possible on a built engine. What fails in higher HP engines ?

What about the transmission, transfer case, axles etc...
I prefer to have answer based on actual experience.

Thanks !
i think the concensus is (correct me if i'm wrong) is about 600+ whp on a stock 2nd gen drivetrain (forged 4 bolt/ bulletproof six speed) and ~500 on a first gen. if you look at one of the top threads, a dude just put over 1200 to the ground with a built stroker.
