maximum hp on engine and transmission
I have a 500whp Talon and I'm considering buying a stealth TT.
I'd like to run 9s @ 145mph+
I'm wondering what are the weak links in the Stealth TT/3000gt and what year is the best?
I have done a bit of reading and the 2nd gen motor has a forged crank.
I saw some mentions of inadequate oiling and a lot of spun bearings.
Given it is perfectly tuned How much horsepower can a stock 1st gen block handle ? stock 2nd gen?
What is the highest HP possible on a built engine. What fails in higher HP engines ?
What about the transmission, transfer case, axles etc...
I prefer to have answer based on actual experience.
