A 50/50 mix of water/meth will increase your base fuel octane by about 25%.
So 93 would be about 116 or same as C16 like you mention.
You also get lower IAT, EGT, and it steam cleans out the internal carbon build up. Last time I did my sprak plugs on the VR-4, the internals of the lower intake were cleaner then the outside.
