I would get just the low beam and you can later add the high or fog/driving light in HID. You will be shocked on how much light you get with the low beam only on a 4300K or 6000K kit. I know the higher color temp kits will give up light output because you are restricting the total range used.

Unfortunately, I had already bought the 3 sets in 8000k before I read this thread, and have the low & high beams installed in my VR4 and today am removing the bumper to mount the fog light ballasts somewhere. After that I can see if I like the color (I'm now concerned they may be too blue and sacrificing too many lumens compared to cooler temp bulbs). Maybe I'll hate the hgh beams or the 8000K. If that's the case, I already know I can purchase 9006 or H3 replacement bulbs in any color for $15 each from the same vendor, re-use the high beam ballasts in my Stealth DD with new low beam bulbs (probably 4300K) & go back to halogen high beams in the VR4. If later I like the 4300K better, I can easily swap out the 8000K bulbs without breaking the bank.
