Default Re: a heads up....

I had my interview with Samsung yesterday. It went well to say the least.... OK - OK.... I rocked my interviewer's sox off!!! I had 4 interviews with 8 different people back to back to back. I left there feeling like I did pretty well and that I'd probably be a good fit in the company. They said I'd probably hear back from them next week as to whether of not I got the position.....

Fast forward 18 hours to this morning..... I get a phone call from Samsung and they cut straight to the chase.

They gave me an offer, offered to move me down here and threw in a sign on bonus!!!!!

"...We're eager to get you onto our team and don't want to let you get away...."

Now that's someone who can appreciate mad skillz! HAHAHAHAHA!!

Long story short - I'm gonna run their offer by Texas Instruments and see if they can match it or beat it.... if not - then it looks like I'm coming back to Austin. Should I accept the position - my start date is 06/09/08.
