I've an autometer mechanical too from two years, it works good but I've to admit that the fact you've that long hose that go from the engine bay under your dash and then in your a-pillar (or like me that go out of the hood and then into the door) feel like if it is not very accurate but I think for 40$ that I payed that's honest
