With the no click start thing, try this. Take off the steering column plastic guards by releasing the screws underneath the column and removing the garnish. First, take a look at the left side of the column opposite the key side of the cylinder. There is a black cap with wires soldered to it. There is one screw which keeps it tight. Make sure its not loose. If its not loose, then look at the key side and look for the small hole right on the outside of the cylinder. With the key in the accessory position, and the pin in that hole pushed in, you should be able to pull the whole key cylinder out and you can inspect the copper traces and see if they are worn out. If they are, you need to replace the assembly. Thats all I got. My car was doing this and mine was loose and worn out, so I drilled out the old one, and installed a new one for $80 and re-used my old key cylinder since it was still good.
