didn't have time to read everything, but for the starting problem search for "click click start fix".

Basically the ignition key switch is worn out. You can replace it or get a piggyback relay to "fix" the problem.

Roll start the car and you will know for sure. Get the car rolling 5-10 MPH and let the clutch out in gear with the key ON.
